    I honestly don't see why Converse are so popular? If you were looking for comfort, makes like Vans and Etnies have been destroying my arches in comfortable style for the last 3 or 4 years. You can also wear them when it rains!

    You shold see how popular they are in france, they sell them everywhere. Cheaper too, should have gotten some there, oh well.

    The red ones are cool. Don't like the 3rd pair but the 4th pair are pretty cool too.

    Buy all of them. You can never have enough shoes.

    Better marketing etc. I think they sent pairs of shoes to up and coming bands and the like to wear them. I remember atomic kitten wearing them at one stage.

    before they used to be worn just by rockers and grungers. They became popular again when the company was bought by Nike.

    My dad always told me not to wear red shoes because Red Shoes = No Knickers :D

    (Although i doubt he was thinking along the line of 'cons' at the time :P)

    I like the white bootie type ones too by the way...

    Last ones would be my pick. The other ones are trying too hard. Red ones not the worst of the rest though.
    Nicest pair I ever had were low tops in black with a grey suede strip under the lacing. The front and back of the soul was corrugated. They were class. Quite comfortable for Allstars too. I'd buy another pair of them if I could find them, but otherwise they smell, make your feet sweat and every tiny stone feels like a rusty nail through your foot.

    I like the forth pair but they are a bit feminine for you.

    Two or three with more of a leaning towards two.

    I went intot eh shop and they had the first and last ones, the first ones didn't look as good due to being a more faded colour so got the last ones, look pretty goooood.
