(Before I start I did a search and didn't find anything like this)

So, if you were a pro wrestler, what would your entrance music be?

I'll get the ball rolling and say off the top of my head mine would probably be Main Offender by The Hives.

    How about you guys?

A heavy metal version of the Benny Hill Theme.

I reckon you could have good theme tunes with:

The Chilis': All Around the World
    Audioslave: Cochise [edited]
    Intergalactic - Beastie Boys
    Gangster Trppin - Fatboy Slim
    Hysteria - Muse

Even better than the real thing - U2

A metal version of Pax Deorum - Enya (would require a very haunting charater, though, and a very loud version!)

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

going back a bit... when i used to write in an E-fed, i always used
"know your enemy" by RATM.. then "Bumblebee" by JJ72, which i imagine would be pretty good.

i also agree with whoever said "Hysteria" by Muse. That would be an awesome theme.

Damn you Bond you stole my song!:pac:

Good choice man, I'd go with that or Thunderstruck by AC/DC.

Enter Sandman takes an age to get going. You need something with a real punchy start. Something that the fans know is *whoever* straight away with a bang. egs. Glass Break = Austin. or the "If ya smeellllll" of the Rock".

Imagine a wrestler running to the ring with Enter Sandman behind them. The fight'd be over by the time the riff kicks in proper! I know, I know Taker doesnt have one, but he does things at his own pace mostly.

Led Zeppelin's Immigrant Song would be good if done heavier. That screaming riff seems perfect for some wild wrestler. Not so much the lyrics about Ice and Snow. That's a bit 'middle-earth' for my liking.

So you've never seen Sandman's ECW or One Night Stand entrances? It works better when he doesn't run :pac:

http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2a6cq_nakamura-tomko-vs-tenzan-makabe_extreme ;) It was also Bruiser Brody's entrance music in Japan

I claim ignorance with regards to Brody's enterance.

And yeah, Sandman's is edited. The original wouldn't stand up for a theme.

    And is this real too?

It's too slow a burner for me. I mean it take 56 seconds until it gets going proper. Great song though, yeah,

I tried searching youtube for footage of it before just posting a picture.
He used it in Japan and WCCW, it was awesome!

Only edited on WWE and ECW (I think?) DVDs. The proper version was on the first ONS PPV and in ECW

    Fast-forward a minute and a bit:

    I see your point.
But he still had to wait for the 'kick-in' on both those videos before making his enterance. He was there, but he was just sort of hanging around. If you edited it well it'd be great, but it's not something you could blare and have him run to the ring to interrupt a match with a "wow, it's him!" effect.

I'll admit, I used to love hearing the Rock's theme mid-match to see him come to the ring and save the face. It was BANG! In you go, sort things out. You only needed the opening bars. Edge's is great in that respect. Big Show too.

I would use this for a number of reasons. First it's a bit different to your usual rock music that is normally associated with pro wrestling. Second it has a nice intro that could work with some fireworks when it kicks in and finally I think the music would suit a myterious heel type:

The Fight Song - Marilyn Manson (I think it was used as a theme song on Smackdown for a bit actually)

I think I'd have to go for the Dillinger Escape Plan (with Mike Patton) version of Come to Daddy

or Faith No More's Surprise You're Dead

The bell ringing at the start of that, would become a bit of a signature, like Austin's glass smashing, or Mankind's car crash.

    I'd have Hysteria by Muse

Think again, that was a remix of The Beautiful People, the one tune that both RAW and Smackdown have used at one stage or another (as RAW used it in 1997 for about 2-3 weeks when they brought in the tron and the darker set).

Marilyn Manson's The Fight Song was used at InVasion 2001. :)
    VR!
