    Can it be done?

For bedroom use, mainly xbox 360.

With a screen size of 32", 1080p is not usually a necessity as it is very difficult to see the difference between a HD Ready & Full HD panel at this size. More required in 42"+ panels.

Probably this best Screen for this money is this 32" FULL HD

    Thanks for the replies.

So if I don't necessarily need the full HD for this size, what would you recommend?

that tv JMAL linked to is not full hd. that website is wrong.

at 32" i'd recommend the same tv (Panasonic TX-32LX80). Sony also have a lovely new one the V4000 http://www.allianceelectric.ie/products/tv/plasmalcd/kdl32v4000.htm

if you want full HD in 32" then again, Sony or Panasonic

to be honest, i agree with everybody else and Full HD at 32" isnt really too important. if you want full HD (and be able to see the difference) then go for 37/42.

Sorry about that.. my mistake. I have updated the thread to the panel I should have linked to, the Panasonic 32LZ80L Full HD LCD.

I'd agree that for a panel of this size I wouldn't worry about 1080p, and look at the Panni 32LX80L or the lower spec 32LE8L. Here's a good comparison chart.

I got the Samsung LE32A451 for €569 in Soundstore in Limerick. Love it. HD Ready, not Full HD, but that was a conscious decision.

    37" 16:9 Polaroid Full HD TFU-43723B

    1920x1080
    500 cd/m2
    10,000:1 yes 10,000 not 5,000
    6.5ms
    2x HDMI yes 2 not

    The Box

    The TV

I have it hocked up with my ps3 straight via HDMI cable. I don't watch TV much but a lot of Blu Ray Movies. It comes with all the things you might expect although i got a shock when I saw that the connection plug was 2 pins but I later found that there was a converter included.

    Connectors

At first I couldn't watch any blu ray movies it wouldn't display. Until I set the BD 1080p 24Hz output HDMI. After that fiasco every thing works fine. The picture looks great well a little improvement from my old 768 hd ready monitor. I tried different Disc and they all look fine I could see a little difference.

    Connectors 2

Up close to the tv very close I notice few amount of noise and at the right distance back none. I have notice that on most Full HD tv in the shops Bravia to be one. I also havent notice any motion blur so far but I will test for it later with fifa.

    Inside

    Version 1.0
more to come so far so good
