Looks okayish. Strange casting for Vega, Taboo from the Black Eyed Peas. Michael Clark Duncan as Balrog is spot on though.

Ah crap :( I'd hoped Lana from Smallville had left for good and given up acting altogether. Now I see she's massacring Chun-Li?... ffs... stick to your Neutrogena commercials Kristen, rubbing spot cream on your face is about all your good at

At 0:15... Michael Clarke Duncan pitches a tent.

Raul Julia's grave-spinning has increased to a dull whirr, looking forward to this.

I think the reason shes so good in those ads is cause its better written than most episodes of Smallville :pac:

When the trailer started, I just assumed it was a Japanese flick till it got to Kristen and then I was like......hang on......she looks familiar! :D

Odd choice for Chun-Li though. Isnt she supposed to be Asian? Or am I just being totally racist there

    Chun-li is Chinese
Kristen Kreuk is of chinese descent, as was her character Lana Lang in Smalleville

Looks like it will be v true to the game, so YAY!

    PS You're racist! :p

Actually, Lana Lang was always a caucasian redhead in the comics and the character was played by Annette O'Toole (superman's mom in smallville) in one of the movies. What didn't make sense was casting a half chinese actress as Lana :D

She looks the part as chun-li but let's face it, the movie is going to be ****e like all game to movie adaptations.

I'm personally looking forward to this, I'm also looking forward to the inevitable mashup "Chun li vs. Dragonball" out next fall... followed closely by the summer 2010 hit, "Fight Game Movie" movie staring Carmen Electra and Marlon Wayans

Saw this a while back in Singapore. It is a poor film..

In the film Neal MacDonagh plays the baddie, his back story has him as the son of Irish missionaries who were in Bangkok and died there.. He was a baby or very young boy when this happened and was raised in Bangkok. Somehow he managed to retain a terrible Irish accent...

Bad film, don't go see it...

(By the way, did this come out in Ireland yet?)

Just had to add that this is an absolute turd of a movie. Not sure how it got made - marginally, and only marginally, better then the actual Street Fighter movie. Bonus points for M. Bison, the 'son of Irish mercenaries' who died when he was pretty much a fetus, but whom still manages to go through a rather confusing chronology of development... asian-baby-to-white-teen-to-albino-man....with a rural irish accent.

Anyway, really bad. I would give it a 2/10.

Don't be put off by the comments. I'm not saying its a great movie by any means but its still watchable and enjoyable as long as you take it for what it is and thats a movie based on a video game.

She was always my favourite :P

I taught the film was watchable. As eagle eye said its based on a video game.. dont have any high expectations!

High expectations or not it's a runny turd(you know the kind that sneaks out when you try just that little bit too hard to fart) of a film, the leprechuan accent and the bit with the baby were just too much.

i have to agree awful awful movie, i'd nearly say it's as bad as the first one.

It was mad to see ya man from band of brothers/desperate housewives with an oirish accent.

His parents are both Irish and he spends a lot of time over here. He had a house in Salthill and I think his parents moved back there a few years back. I used to meet him in Galway when Boomtown was airing over here.

So his parents are Irish, he's spent time here and all he could manage was that lousy accent-sounds like a bad t-shirt.

Wouldn't worry about it... Most of the characters in the game (Streetfighter 2 anyway) don't look like they're from the country they're supposed to be from... except maybe the American ones, which could look like anything I suppose
