Bagel Factory- You spin me right round baby

That new ad for the bagel factory has that song "You spin me right round baby, right round", playing all the way through it.

Dunno if anybody in the company who approved it knew where else that song is used, but it has put me right off bagels for life! I expect some smart lad might have proposed it for a laugh and it just got agreed.

If you don't know what I am talking about you are lucky, you can still enjoy a ham or chicken bagel.

Heh, thats pretty clever. Id buy one for the craic then.

On a slightly related note, I've never seen why a bagel is viable as a sandwich outer layer. Theres a hole in the middle ffs!

haha thought the exact same thing myself today...i'm not sticking one of those in my mouth!! Much prefer a long, hard, greasy hotdog.

I heard some Kerry guy on the TV a while back saying that Kerry was the home of the bagel. What a lying bollix, I thought, until I realised that he was talking about his pedigree dogs.

I agree. I like filled bagels and might make one at home but no way I'm buying one out - you can fit hardly any fillings in and they cost the same if not more than baguettes. The same goes for filled croissants. who buys them

just chicks on diets I suppose....
