I find a lot of Irish girls names to be unaesthetically pleasing to the ear.

    Aoife
    Brefini
    Sorcha
    Aine
    etc.

Neil and Niall. Mainly becuse Neils and Niall think they have the monopoly on getting called by the wrong name.

"So your name is Neesa and people call you Nessa? So? At least you're name isn't Neil and you get called Niall"

True, neither Neil nor Niall suit me. Arrogant f*cks.

All those American Ricki Lake guest names like LaShaniqua etc.
    Slaphead.
What's the point in listing names that you've heard of once but otherwise don't exist? That always happens on these threads.

Not a first name, but people who refer to themselves by their double barreled surname, it stinks of pretentiousness. Fair enough, they had no say in their parents giving them the surname, but jesus yid think when they get to about 14 they would have the sense to only refer to thmselves by their fathers surname, rather than sign it with both.

Worst are the religious names alot of women in their 40s/50s have- Assumpta, Attracta, Concepta, Immaculata, Majella.

Ive only ever met two young Majellas- awful name, but they were animal looking

Or young ones with general oul one names like Eileen and Moira.

yeah so? I said "English" because they're frequently taken up by English and increasingly Irish middle classes

The worst name i have ever come abross is Abcde. Pronounced ' Ab-sidy'
Second place goes to Nevaeh. (heaven spelt backwards)

I also hate all the popular baby names at the moment, such as:

    Jayden,
    Hayden,
    Brayden,
    Ayden,
    etc

I hate boys names on girls, I hate last names used as first names and I hate names spelt wrongly to make them 'unique' (eg:Emmleigh (emily) )
