hi all . can anyone tell me if they have bought tickets of a company called www.tinaturnertickets.net and if they have have they had any problems my wife bought some for tina in the o2 in dublin and someone told her that the tickets would be no good ---please help

My friends have bought tickets of same site for 02 Arena emailed them yesterday and someone phoned them to say tickets would arrive today and have to be signed for...... we wait if they do arrive they could still be dud!!

I have also bought tickets for Manchester, live in Spain and booked flights etc....... wait with baited breath

How gullible are you people?? Don't buy from sites you've never heard of!

tinaturnertickets.net is incredibly dodgy looking. There's no contact details, and a whois for the domain name has zero contact details - very suspicious.

You won't see any tickets. Contact your credit card company for a chargeback.

Yes ok we have been gullible but this is the first time we have bought concert tickets on the net. Unfortunately we did'nt know what to look for to tell the difference between a genuine and dodgy web site.

Well get on to your credit card company ASAP and try and get your money back through a chargeback.

Are they ticketmaster tickets that have been resold to you? If they are then ring the ticketmaster helpline and quote the ticket numbers, they should be able to tell u on the spot if they are fakes.

If they turn out to be fake, contact your bank or credit card company + they might be able to arrange some compensation.

Btw, ticketmaster usually release more tickets on the week of the event taking place so keep checking back regularly.

Well now seeing as you seem to know so much about these scam sites do they send tickets that are forgeries or don't they send tickets at all.

I thought Vancouver was in Canada but perhaps there's one in over the border in the USA!

It can be hard to know dodgy sites from others. Rule of thumb - if you are buying tickets online by them from the advertised ticket agency for the event. Ticketmaster are the official agent for the "big 3" promoters in Ireland.

If they are sold out then you take your chances with any other source. If you are dealing with a site like tinaturnertickets.net then explore it first. The very least that you are looking for is a landline telephone number and a company address. By law all EU web sites have to have contact details on their sites. This one seems to be a US company. I would question their ability to be able to get tickets for an Irish gig.

I do know for a fact that there is a Vancouver in USA because my nephew lives there!!

My friends tickets arrived yesterday morning as promised by recorded delivery.. we will find out on Wednesday whether they are genuine or not.

I have brought tickets from these people for 4 march got phone call on saturday promising delivery by recorded mail for monday fingers crossed hoping i receive them and that they are genuine.

Ask the company for the tracking number. If they are using the likes of UPS or DHL you can track them online.

compared tickets with friend that is going to concert on 3 march tickets from tinaturnertickets.net different shade of brown but has hologam the same when tilted it has valid on it i think they are dud any advise.

As someone else said, ring up ticketmaster and they should know by the ticket numbers whether they're fake. I haven't been in the o2 yet so i'm not sure if they scan tickets at the door.

Rang ticketmaster today they said they couldnt tell me if they were dud or not any other idea of ways of finding out.

Hi karate went to concert last night got in with tickets sent to me it was fantatastic we were sat down the front A2 BLOCK could not believe it after seeing web sites on tinaturnertickets.net still on a high now hope you are as lucky as us and have a great time

hi i have bought six tickets for the manchester show from this tinaturnertickets.net website can you assure me that my tickets will come and they will be genuine cos my dad is considering buying more tickets and don't want to end up with double. he has read somewhere that it is dodgy and has been shut down by police please can you put my mind at rest. thanks

My friend did'nt get her tickets until the Saturday before the concert which was on the Wednesday so don't worry. Try emailing them from their website.

these tickets are worth 550 euro ...i will let them go for 275!!!

So, I'd be wary buying anything from them.

For anyone buying anything over the net, research the company you're buying from first.
I had problems buying something from a company called pixamania. After i had received a (faulty) item, i then put the name of the company into a search engine which returned a lot of posts (a fair few on this board) complaining about customer service and all sorts. If i had researched the company first i would have stayed well clear and saved myself a lot of hassle.

Hey, sorry to hear about your misfortune. It certainly is inappropriate for people to start name calling etc. It's a good idea to contact the credit card company if you haven't already. If you do not get tickets or valid tickets (since the website states they offer 100% genuine tickets) you are entitled to money back. Usually you open a dispute once you send a few bits of proof like confirmation email or screen shots etc the credit card company appeal on your behalf but I think they refund you first.
