Are there any good part time online jobs??

I am Irish, but I am currently living in the Caribbean. I earn what is considered quite a good wage here, but compared to Irish levels, it is quite low. I also have to send home money every month to service a personal loan and tax bill.

Anyway, to try keep up with my obligation in Ireland, I have been scouring the web for a part-time/work from home business which could earn me a few hundred per month. It seems to be near impossible to find anything genuine on the net. I've seen "data entry" or "typing" jobs, but these invariably turn out to cost money up front and will only give you a list of potential companies with which you may get a job. I've also heard about taking surveys for money, but once again these seem to promise much more than they ever deliver.

Is there anyone out there who knows about a genuine opportunity that may fulfill my needs. All suggestions are gratefully accepted. I'm getting desperate at this stage!!!

Your best bet is to set up your own affiliate or adsense based site. However, it takes months of hard work building links to generate the level of traffic to make these sites profitable. Also, you may have to set up 5 - 10 sites to make a reasonable income.

Has anyone made much with this approach?

While about 1% of people make money doing this, the rest are taken advantage by scammers selling self-help books and DIY websites...don't waste you time. Even if you were good it would take years and most of your time to make money from it. A good rule of business is, 'if you can't figure out how it works don't do it'....because you will be ripped off by fraudsters. Ask yourself, if it was so easy as it seems why are these guys not doing it themselves!

Thanks for the input, so far!!

Now I have done a small bit of research over the last few days on a company called "Tahitian Noni Inc." They sell Noni Juice (a health drink) by an Multi Level Marketing system. They make some fairly ambitious claims about how much one can earn. I realise that the figures they quote are probably fairly unrealistic, but I think this could be a good one for making a few extra euro per month. I think they are around a while, as I have heard some positive (and negative) noises about the product over the past few years.

But what I really want to know is; has anyone here had any experience selling this stuff and is it possible to make a small profit per month? Do you think this would be a good business to pursue or will I end up just losing more money??
