We all have them... well most of us do, but my question is, what should you do if you lose yours? I been collecting the dole for a few weeks without one and I don't think I can keep it up much longer. Sorry didn't really know where to post this

Have the money wired to your bank account instead of collecting it at post office, or have they done away with this?

You'll still need it to sign on, just order a new one at the office you're registered with.

Tell the social welfare office that you've lost your card. I imagine it's just a case of replacing it.

Let SW know, you will get a temporary card until you get a new SW card.

Go to the SW office and they will give you a yellow temporary card there and then, you'll need some other form of ID on you though. The replacement card will then get sent out within a week or so.

I'd got sent one donkeys years ago and never knew what it was for until recently so it probably ended up in the bin but they sent out the new one pretty sharpish.

Do you expect to be needing to make any welfare claims in the near future?
