If you have a Bluray player I would recommend this series on Bluray. It is amazing.

Some negative opinions of 'the hut' here http://www.ciao.co.uk/Reviews/Thehut_com__5830579 put me off. Really like the disc tho, but really don't want the hassle.

I've only used them once before (Quake IV for £3.93 thanks to good old BA), and have no complaints about them...
I would definitely use them before cdwow anyway, but that's not saying much!!!

nothing negative about the hut from me, you are always going to have to take into consideration that on the internet you have more a tenancy to complain rather that praise

For those XBOX360's out there with the (cheap!) HD-DVD drive add-on, this Planet Earth box-set is on sale over at DeepDiscount. Using the code SUPERSALE, it comes in at €16.44 delivered.

(cue posts re: dead format, etc. :) - But great value for a HD version of this amazing series if you have the kit to play HDDVDs already)

BTW, +1 for using TheHut - never had a problem with them.

They are very cheap for both series of Torchwood, which i would love to get, but i have never dealt with them so i am a bit dubious!

Read back through the posts, no-one has a had a real problem with them. I think they are good aswell, all-right for some things I was waiting a while but I got them in the end. Sendit, zavvi and Asda are part of the same group and prices are similar. Sendit and Asda offer free delivery. Buy with confidence!

I ended up going with Amazon, more expensive but it will be here by Friday.Really enjoyed Torchwood :Children Of Earth recently so i wanted to see the first two series!

As Doodlebug points out, you can get tremendous value by picking up HDDVD versions of this or any other movie. Just remember that once you have copied the video over to your hard drive it is no longer really HDDVD, is it ;)
