Im moving into a new apartment with a mate of mine and we've decided not to get/bring a TV with us as none of us watch TV anyway.

We both have large computer screens though so i am just wondering would we still need a license since we watch stuff on those??
    Cheers

if they are just pc monitors for use with pc/laptop and no tuners for receiving irish channels via aerial, then you are fine.

not at the moment - but legislation has been drafted (I think)

of maybe its already in play .... i remember reading recently that its any instrument capable of receiving a TV signal.

I dont think you have a problem.
