Friend seriously assaulted in Dublin club...

I had a friend who was seriously assaulted in a club over the weekend by up to about 8 guys. Serious assault which included kicks to the head, glass smashed across head and face.

    Result:
Broken nose, stitches to the eye brow area and some bumps around the head area. Tells me he's waking up each morning feeling rough, as if he's had ten beers an hour or two before he woke up.

What's annoying for us all is that the security in the club wasn't capable of dealing with the scum who done this and to add further insult, the cameras weren't recording. How convenient. Guys get off scot free but surely someone has to be held responsible?

Looking to get good legal advice.
Does anyone know of anyone specialising in such cases?

What club did it happen in Jay?

Also as said above get your friend to the hospital ASAP. Some injuries especially head ones dont show up right away. He could have blood surrounding his brain.

Thanks lads he spent that night in hospital, me with him. Xray didn't show the glass that was in his eyebrow but he could feel it and eventually they got that out. Observed him for the night for brain damage.

Don't want to name the club just yet. Like don't get me wrong the staff there are nice but obviously incapable for such rough bastárds.

I... I just don't f*cking understand people anymore. Humanity has advanced so far, yet still feels the need to revert to this barbaric behaviour. Perplexing and just downright disheartening.

OP, I hope your friend feels better very soon.

Taking a drive through certain areas in Dublin would certain make you feel a lot more disheartened. I think most of it stems from bad parenting. Ipso Facto >> Castration is the answer! Stop letting scum breed more scum.

And yes I realise my idea make me sound like a crazy dictator but being liberal and all that jazz just doesn't work with some types. :pac::pac:

IN fairness - I personally think the club should be named.

I'm sure no-one here wants to go to a place that lets such scum through its doors, nevermind being unable to deal with it afterwards, and not having their security camera's running.

The gardai most definitely have to be informed, and failing any co-operation by the club in question, and action against the club should be taken.

It happened on their premises - they are ultimately responsible.

We will not be naming clubs or venues.

We will not be giving legal advice.

We undertake to read the forum charter in future.

Thread is locked and will remain locked. Don't bother PM'ing to have it unlocked.

Go talk to the Gardai and then a solicitor - Any solicitor.

    Tom
