    Hi Folks,

The plug adaptor is caput on my 60w Magsave and my battery is ticking away. Anyone know where in Dublin city centre I can pick up a replacement?

Its the plug on the adaptor that is destroyed but I think the whole thing might be in trouble as a quick repair is not yielding any results.

    Painful.

AFAIK, the "3G" stores carry Apple hardware/software (not that I've ever bought anything from one of them) these days so I'm guessing they could have the adapter - there are 3 Dublin city center ones:

    - 3G Store • 17 Henry Street, Dublin 1
    - 3G Store • Ilac Shopping Centre, Dublin 1
    - 3G Store • Unit 15a, St. Stephens Green Shopping Centre, Dublin 2

Thanks for that. I tired them to be told that Apple haven't sent anything into Ireland for 8 weeks and all the stores are out of stock. The place in Merrion square wanted €100 for one and aren't open on Saturday and PC World Jervis don't seem to have phone number per se.

Hope they get an Apple store in Dublin asap...!

That seems odd really but I haven't had any experience with the 3G stores in the past, so it could be the norm with them...

I remember from the Snow Leopard stores thread a few people mentioning that the Bang & Olufsen stores now stock Apple gear, maybe try them?
