    Hey Guys,

Why do you think it is that people are so quick to dismiss electro house a genre? I find it to be the most dynamic and fresh of all dance music genre's but because it's now in vogue everyone wants to knock it. I've held these views long before it became fashionable btw.
For me Erol Alkan is one of the most technically gifted DJ's around, even surpassing UNKLE or Mills. However for some he is just a sloppy party DJ.
We also have new bands like Le Roux pushing the genre to further greatness. Long may it continue imo.

Well first off there is no way Id be mentioning James Lavelle(UNKLE) in a topic that included technical prowess as a dj.

With Electro House it all just started to sound the same really.Go to Beatport and listen to their top 100 electro section.Electro House was the big sound about 2 years ago but no one is really paying any attention to it now.

And artists like La Roux are Pop.Not Electro House.

You could listen to some real Electro like the Dave Clarke Mix CD Electro Boogie which is a far cry fro the Electro House genre that tainted the original genre of ELectro.

What seems to be your problem VinylJunkie? This was a genuine thread discussion on electro house and you turn it in to a series of faceless allegations of trolling. Can you point out exactly where on this thread I have trolled?
