I recently got a logitech squeezebox which is a real beaut.....I use it for both the internet radio and accessing my music library on my PC. I have a wireless network and it runs off that....it does slow the PC down at times, which is a pain in the ass. :(

My problem is this....I have an old altec lansing speaker set with amp that I use as the speakers. It works fine except that it is very bulky and cumbersome with wires etc. I also have it in my kitchen/dining area and it takes up a lot of room.

Can anybody recommend speakers that go with the squeezebox and don't cost the starz? I kinda of am thinking about going with logitech again and keeping it all in the family. Sound quality isn't a significant problem for me....just need something functional, compact, neat and in black!
