Why would the seller or EA of a house that has been on the market for 18 months decide to raise the price by 70grand ??

    http://www.daft.ie/searchsale.daft?id=238294

    Price history from irishpropertywatch >>

    27th April 2008 - 520000
    13th July 2008 - 500000
    21st Dec 2008 - 420000
    9th Aug 2009 - 350000
    26th Sept 2009 - 420000

Some very deluded people out there.

The title was light hearted, I dont actually believe we have another property bubble on our hands

I was just showing that some people, really, really dont want to admit the property has gone down in value.

Old Reichsmarks would be handier- you'd need a wheelbarrow for the Zimbabwean dollars...... :)

    Just seen this today.
Same EA puts two new adverts up on daft.
Different houses, but beside each other, build identical, build by the same builder.

    1. House is fully finished, and looks quite nice. €265k. House was sold and now being sold by new owners.
    www.daft.ie/1449065

    2. House unfinished, Small PC sum. €315k
    www.daft.ie/1384495
The Builder has it for sale with another EA for €290k for months.

What is the EA thinking? he even uses the same outside pic for both houses (pic is of house 1), I doubt the EA has even been in contact with the builder for months. Is he incompetent or just lazy?
