Hi, I completed a half marathon in Waterford on Saturday. I thoroughly enjoyed it and thankfully I am injury free :D when do you think is ok to get back into my regular running routine again? I was thinking of doing a slow 10km tonight? Any ideas? Thanks!

What is your running history? If you're an experienced runner there is no reason not to start straight back. If you're a relatively new runner, there is no harm in having a couple of days off.

Thanks hunnymonster, I'm running about 3 years now but the half marathon was my first competitive run.

You could always do the first two weeks of Hal Higdon's marathon recovery program, before returning to normal running:

It's a little too cautious for me, but is a handy reminder that you shouldn't do too much too soon.
