Right, I've a few weddings during the year and in the spirit of saving money, I'm going to learn to do my hair myself, but since Roches closed, I'm not sure where you'd get rollers............any ideas????

You can buy Velcro rollers in most chemists or salon supply shops, some 2euro shops do them too!

or you can buy a good set of Remnington Heated rollers in argos. They are red and yellow, the are absolutley brilliant.

I always reckoned the heated ones might be too good to be true, but do they work???
(just checked Argos online, they don't have heated Remington's any more.............)

They do work a treat, but they are kind of tricky, and if you want the volume your best to blast your hair dry with plenty of volume first.

Velcro rollers work just as good, I bought a hood from amazon recently and you attach it to your hair dryer and pop it on your head (medium heat) after you have put the velcros in.

Remember when you are putting the rollers in, over direct them to get the volume. Say you are putting them in at the crown, pull it forward towards your forehead and wind it back to the crown.
    Did that make sense?

I got a set of heated rollers in Lidl last year and they are brilliant - they had them again there before christmas and my friend went and bought them too because she kept robbing mine. I think the make of them is Balance. If they were to come in store again I would really recommend them (I think they were only about €20).
