There should be nothing wrong with this thread as paper tips by Tom Segal are only going to be put up and talked about here. That shouldn't be a problem as there is no subscription service required for the paper tips.

I think Private Be has a great chance, although I'd fancy the chances of Madison du Berlais more, he has great form around Kempton and loves flat tracks, I think the pipes are aiming him at this race and although he is top weight I think he has a great chance and is a nice price at 7/1

I agree paper tips thread should be no bother to the RP.

    Taken from another site
Pricewise’s Tom Segal tipped up Celestial Halo in today’s Racing Post and, not surprisingly, the generally available 14/1 soon disappeared - although you can still grab 12/1. 15/2 with boyles
This was hardly a gamble of epic Pricewise proportions - most probably due to the fact that most punters seem to believe that Binocular is a stone-bonking certainty for the Smurfit Kappa Champion Hurdle.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 34 negwob99

He didnt tip Celestial Halo. He has tipped Menorah & Khyber Kim. 1pt wins @ 12-1 & 8-1.
He also mentions his 2 against the field in the Arkle being Sizing Europe & Riverside Theatre

He has also tipped Ogee @ 14-1

Copied and pasted from another site earlier.
    http://www.cheltenhamfestivaltips.co.uk/2009/01/20/halo-backed-after-pricewise-support/

    paper tips
    Menorah 1.30
    1 pt win @ 12/1

    Kyber Kim 3.20
    1 pt win @ 8/1

    Already advised
    Blackstairmountain 1.30
    1 pt ew @ 20/1

    Riverside Theatre 2.05
    1 pt win @ 12/1

    Voler La Vedette 3.20
    1 pt win @ 12/1
    Which is a N/R

Channel 4 stated that pricewise picked a new story in the racing post.
Is the irish version different than the english one ?.
    I for 1 didn't see it.

I said he was coming back just at the right time (and when the ground has come good finally, the two are deffo connected I believe)

There was two different sections from Tom in todays paper. His older already advised bets and then todays bets. A New Story was on page 39.

That site seem a bit odd. First he didn't tip Celestial Halo in the Post as far as I can see and 2nd I don't think anyone thought Binocular was a stone-bonking certainty for the Smurfit Kappa Champion Hurdle.
    I mean WTF?

Unless their just using his name, but they did tip up 3 winners.

Yer spot on, many of the shrewdies will keep their powder dry until ground comes good. He was fkn amazing today at Cheltenham. It's a right pile of work as well to go through all those big fields. And time after time he digs out some beauties. HAIL SEGAL:D
