ps3 which one to buy?

    hi 40gb 80gb or ps3 slim? hi any advice? i used to own a 60 gb launch day console and sold it as no games really for it but now ps have a few exclusives im getting a ps3 again! any advice would be great thanks! are any of the newer consoles more reliable than any other one?

    is brod a big problem now? just quite a few on adverts at the mo?

    Avoid second hand just because they're not all the much cheaper than new.

    I think slims come in 120GB or 250 GB. 120GB is easily enough unless you're planning to play 30 games at once. :pac:

    Where's the cheapest place to get the 120gb slim (don't come in any smaller sizes, do they?)? Just need the console, had controllers and games so I'm all good in that department!

    The price difference in Game/Gamestop etc only ever seems to be about €40 and maybe Im just a snob but I would always go for the new over second hand for an extra €40 ... still €350 is ridiculous price versus the Xbox ... yeah I know clu ray blah blah blah and it is better than the Xbox anyway but still so painfully expensive

    You can get a 120gb slim for 286euro, think I've seen it cheaper in HMV though.

    You might be able to get a 40 or 80gb but they may only be second hand and they won't be any cheaper.

    Having a 120gb hard drive wouldn't be a bad thing. I only have a 40gb hard drive and I filled it a while back so had to remove my music.

    You can get a 80gb in Symths it seems . . . here

    Im pretty sure this crossed your mind but why not just buy an xbox, better selection of games and better online gaming :pac:

    Nah it didn't cross my mind. Seeing my brother on his third xbox was enough for me.

    Thanks, doesn't seem to be the slim one though.

    I don't mind getting the 120 model, just that I don't want any games/extras with it.

    Im not looking forward to seeing that red ring either but its been almost years now but ya it happens, i think a play station is a bit of a button bashing machine iv watch a friend play god of war and the best on it

    335 for a 120gb slim + 1 game seems a bit steep, does it not? Saw that on the Xtra-vision site.
