    Hey,

    Recently purchased an iphone and have encountered a few problems with windows 7 64bit, I found some advice on the net about uninstalling and dropping back to Itunes version 9.0.3.15 and things were working fine again. I tried to update again and the same thing happened - basically itunes won't recognise or sync my iphone. So had to uninstall blah blah blah and fall back to the old version once more.

    Did anyone else experience this and if so did you find away around it? Thanks in advance!! ;)

    J

    I had this exact same problem myself, also in Windows 7 64 bit.
    You need to do two things;
    1. reset, hold in the middle and top button until the phone restarts itself
    2. Always plug the phone in before you launch itunes, dont open itunes first.

    There's a new version supporting 64bit now. -
    iTunes 9.1.1 for Windows (64-bit) - http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/

    The 64 bit version of iTunes has been out for over 2 years ;). I have the latest version of iTunes and presume the OP has too.

    Yep, but this version was only released yesterday right? And isn't it the first version to offically support win 7 64bit?

    That was my understanding anyway.

    Cheers
