Air support... A question of timing?

So my own killstreaks are predator, Harrier and Chopper gunner.

The question is, do you release the Harriers, with for them to clear off THEN release the chopper? ...

    Or...

Do you release the chopper WHILE the Harriers are up?

There are valid arguments for each. In scenareo A. the Harriers clear up and keep the other team pinned down to inside areas of the map (bar cold blooded players) leaving you free to reap the rewards of Harrier gun kills while you lurk through clearing rooms for additional kills. The con of this is that it leaves lost of time between their relase and chopper gunnners finish for the opposition to change to an anti air class.

Where as the latter option of releaseing the Harriers and immediatly releasing the Chopper gunner as soon as you can allows for the chopper gunner to root out people hiding under cover, spawn in the open for the harrier to wipe out. The con of THIS scenario is that if the cover their in is well protected the chooper / harriers are rendered imputent and wasted.

Its something that crosses my mind ever time I set the harriers off and I usually wait.... would like to know what everyone elses opinion is?

Depends on the map honestly, I tend to wait until I have a vague idea of where the enemy team is spawning, especially if my team is on one side, I tend to bring in the chopper/ac130 at the same time as the harrier, purely because 99% of the time only 1 person on the other team (if even that) will both trying to shoot one down with a CB class, and one will keep him busy while i kill his teammates, who should spawn near him if they're all dying together, I never bother having air support killstreaks on maps like Karachi and Invasion as theres too much cover, Wasteland and Terminal though? unleash them all :D

I always wait. Especialy if it's a harriers/pave low combination. You don't want your air support fighting for kills!

That'd be my opinion though the Pavelow does tend to mop up people who're hiding but no well indoors more effectively IMO. If it's near the end of the match I'll throw out both at the same time but if it's early on I'd wait till the Harriers were blown out of it before the Pavelow comes out (usually a small time delay, to let some people get outdoors again).
