Anyone who can flash a dreambox?

    Just wondering if anyone here can reflash a dm with a corrupt flash? Dreamup and null modem cable. I can do it but an rs232 converter costs a bit too much. Willing to pay.

    You can buy a null modem cable on ebay for about 5 yoyos including delivery.I did myself a few weeks back.

    yes but his Laptop/PC may have no Serial port.

    I've done it before but none of my computers have a serial port. To tell you the truth this isn't for me its for someone else.

    a null rs232 cable & usb to serial adapter will do it,

    I know what's needed. I can do it myself quite easily but this is for someone else who doesn't have a boards account and needs someone to do it for them. I haven't got the time to do it for them so i'm just looking for someone who has it all there and wants to make a bit of money doing a relatively easy job.

    depending on the image you use you could also flash the box with flash wizard pro. this is done via the router network in your house. this wont work for the pli images but i have been successful with Gemini on flash wizard.
