    Hi Guys,

Apologies if this thread should be the Dublin City forum - I figured this is more specifically related to martial arts than to a regional thing.

Can anyone recommend a physio in Dublin city centre with experience with martial arts injuries, or would any sports physio do the trick?

Specifically it's for my left shoulder, left elbow and left wrist - ligaments pulled out of place and things like that. Thank god I'm right handed :D

    Cheers!

    Hi there,
Orlagh Sampson is the woman for you. She's been my physio for a long time and is at the moment treating a rotator cuff strain on my left shoulder. But never mind me, she works with the high performance team at the national stadium and travels with the Irish amateur boxers around the world, including Beijing and Korea. She has all the goods when it comes to martial arts injuries. She's based in Phibsboro.

I've dealt with A LOT of physiotherapists both in Dublin as well as nationally and far and away the best physio I have dealt with is Dave Lyons who is based at St Mary's Rugby Club on Templeville Rd in Tempelogue if anyone wants his number PM me. I'm not 21 anymore... in fact...I'm not 31 anymore and he has put me back together more times than I can remember as well as working with all of my athletes and clients including those from MMA, BJJ and MT.

It's been 4 years since the first post looking for help. I'd say they've probably gotten it seen to since then.

Also, it might be a good idea to try taking part in the forum for a bit before you start posting links to any goods or services.
