Going to Premiership matches?

    Hi all,

I'm looking to get over to a Premier League game in Feb/March with a group of lads for my brothers birthday. I'm not sure what's the best way to go about this. Thinking of flying over Friday and back Sunday. Obviously I've checked out the packages but they're all very expensive.

Ideally I'd like to go to Old Trafford but there's not much happening that time of year there other than the Man City game and I'd say we haven't a hope of getting to that. Other than that a game at Stamford Bridge, The Emirates or White Hart Lane would be good.

I know I'm being a bit vague here but any input would help.

    Cheers
    Mike

i think the first thing you need to decide is which city you want to go to and then figure out an easy game to get a ticket to. Arsenal and Spurs games can be tricky enough to get tickets to as can Man United and Chelsea (though you could get them by paying way over the odds). I'm a Man City fan and tickets for our games are easy enough to get.
Newcastle could be a good shout as it's a wild place for a weekend.
If you have a look on Toutless, there's a guy who has a Fulham season ticket and that could be a good shout as London's great for a weekend.
Just make sure to book a late flight home on the Sunday in case the game is moved to Sunday afternoon (if it's moved to Monday you're snookered).

Liverpool would be another option, Ryanair flies there. The OH just got two tickets to the Wolves game in December and he said he could have got tickets to the Aston Villa game too.

What ever team you go to see it'll probably be easier to get tickets if your a member of the fan club.

my advice would be to go to barcelona or madrid, flights are just as cheap these days to both cities, no need to become a member to buy tickets plus you can choose your own seat anywhere in the ground, both cities have loads of stuff to see and do as well as great nightlife and it will be warmer

    Barca

    Real
