Their giving them away in many of their stores today.
You need to port over from another network and buy 20euro credit.
They have a number of different phones available.
    Savage offer!!

I think 02 are doing something similar today with different handsets.

anyone know a list of the o2 and vodafone stores that are doing this promotion, I don't fancy going into town to find out its over

I dropped into the Grafton street Vodafone shop this evening and noticed the security guard was asking people if they are here for the special, saying the offer was over and turning them away. Still, I proceeded to speak to one of the sales people to find out what phones were on offer, and she replied "they're all gone, it doesn't make a difference if you knew now that the offer is over isn't it?".

So I dropped into the O2 shop next door, and the staff there were very polite, explaining that the free phone offer was only on at the Blanchardstown shop, for folks who have a coupon, and then proceeded to show me which phones were on offer.
    I know when I move, I'll move to O2.

to be honest i found the staffs attitude very poor as well. the guy i was dealing with demanded to look at my phone and flicked through my call list and messages like he was trying to catch me out in some way. i pointed out that my surname was taken down wrong on the form to which he snapped we dont need your surname. if they dont need my surname how will i get my free credit? an offer like they had on could really build goodwill towards vodafone but obviously it was too much hassle for the staff to deal with a larger than normal crowd and be nice.

They rang my phone to check that the number was in my possession. That was it. They don't need your surname as the credit is issued as a standard topup voucher (as I noticed afterwards) but even if it wasn't it would have been directed to the relevant phone number.

They need your surname to apply the registration credit
