Do any shops give a...ahem..fuch...about boutique amps?

    Hey guys,

    I have a feeling the answer to this one will be a resounding "NO". Does anyone know of anywhere in Ireland that sells Fuchs, Divided by 13, Matchless etc?

    I had a feeling this would be the kind of response I'd get. :-D Maybe I should change the question a bit then. Can anyone recommend a decent store in the UK that carries a wide range of boutique amps. I guess I was just hoping to find a small, little known treasure chest at home that might stock these! :-D

    OP. Stores in Ireland have taken in boutique amps, but the market is not there to sell them unfortunately. I won't go into detail, but there's plenty of reasons stores don't stock them

    There are two stores I can recommend in the UK

    World Guitars & Guitar Guitar (especially the Newcastle store, Steve Gray is the man up there)

    Just from browsing the ad pages of Guitarist, I think Peach Guitars has high-end stuff like Dr Z. Have a look down the back of the mag to get some ideas, contact info etc.

    Jimis music store in dublin has a selection of vintage boutique amps, or at least it had last time i looked. They have a website with the current stock too so do a google for that.

    I think Steve is at the Birmingham store now, according to the website. He was at Newcastle and helped me a lot when ordering and spec-ing out my Tyler.
