    That car i was going to offer 1500. 160000miles is a lot but i dont know much about these engines

    Be wary of the man who says it only needs a cheap part to fix it. If its only an 80 euro part wouldnt he not be better off putting it in himself and making an extra few quid by selling a good running example. Engine cover painted too which is not normal for the 1.9 so there could be a smell of a modified car enthusiast of the car which can mean its produced more donuts than dunkin donuts in a year :)

    160k on them engines is not big mileage if they are looked after. But as with anything if you dont look after it properly it will let you down.
