How to add a category to license

    I have a license with the category for a moped and motorbike but i only did a theory test for a motorbike do i new to redo the theory test for the car to put in on my license .

    Yes you will need to sit the category BW Cars Tractors and Work Vehicles theory test if you wish to drive a car. Once you have that passed you can apply to your local motor tax office for a learner permit in that category

    i have done my theory test today and passed what do i do now will i have to send off my licence i have now and get it stamped or do they give me a second licence . Do i need to get a eye test report and will the new licence cost money

    im filling out the form and im ticking B , W but do i tick A1 and M to the form for them to be put on the new licence

    If you already have the moped/motorbike cat on your licence, they will automatically put it on the new one.You are adding the B cat to the bike one.There will only be one physical licence with all the categories.

    I have a full car license at the moment. I previously held a provisional license that allowed me drive up to 125cc bikes but when I got my full car license I just ticked the car box on the form.

    Now I want to go back on a 125cc bike for work. Do I have to do my theory test again or can I just add the category for bikes no greater than 125cc to my existing full car license?
