Just for the laugh and even if I succeed to a point I imagine I'll bail out and cash my chips in before the stake gets too big. I'm not going to try to double the stake every bet, might be smaller, might be bigger depending.

Bet 1 Oldjoesaid Chester 4.20. Place bet 1.90

    Betting on what?

Was it all in every time or what type "system" were you using?

What size was your final bet?

Of course it's possible. Most will fail but as with all big odds someone will win sometime.

Put enough monkeys in a room full of typewriters and one will type the works of Shakespeare.

best chance to do this imo would be something like betting 1 or more goals on footie

at least then if it looks like you're gonna lose you can cut your losses

If you backed Chelsea to score everytime they played at home leaving out the other top 4 teams that would leave 15 fixtures. If you did the same for the top 4 that would 60 bets a season, anybody know what the odds are for normally for scoring at home ?

The odds on the United/Chelsea double don't match the payout in Digmes bets detalied above, strange one that!

    :eek::eek::eek: Sherlock Holmes!

    1.11 x 1.12 = 1.2432 x 1200 = 1491.84! 8 euro hardly worthy of an explanation!

Bookies don't round up/down winnings. I'm just pointing out that it's strange they have in this case i.e. I don't believe him, it's happened here before people fabricating winning slips. If your gonna do it at least get the simple maths right!

    Where does it indicate PP?

    those bets were with pp

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,379 ✭✭✭✭SteelyDanJalapeno

I presuming PP are displaying there odds correct to 2 decimal places, but paying out on the exact odds, as some of the rest of the winnings don't correlate exactly either.

Paddy powers, and most bookies in the UK and Ireland use fractional bets.
1.11 and 1.12 are just for reference. The actual odds would of been 1/4 for the double

Hey guys, I have had a large percentage increase in this sort of thing.

I'm not willing to go into the details of it publicly, so PM me if you want to hear about my story. :) The percentage increase is 11900%. I'm not rich by the way :P

I'm not overly interested in how you did it to be honest, I'd be interested in your starting balance though.

Went from 0.20c to €400ish on PP casino a couple of years back..

If you put €0.01 on a 1/2 shot they return €0.02 when bookies round up. So you can get evens on a 1/2 shot, but max stake is 1 cent :/

I think Samich is referring to something like this.

10c or 20c is the min bet so it's not possible no.

Not the right kind of Gambling but when I was in Vegas on my last night I sat down on my way to bed at a Casino Hold'em table with $15 and said I'd keep betting that till I loose. Sometime later I stood up with the bones of $400.

It can happen but I'd say to a very select few.

My log is at €1080 now, starting balance was €100, although there was actually only €60 in the account when I started, I'd have thrown in the other €40 as needed, I may have to yet if I hit a bad run :pac:

Wouldn't have been able to do it with €1 though.

Boyles used to accept 1 cent bets, I'd imagine they still do.

You had two very juicy soccer bets at short prices though, one of which came in, if you used that €200 with a staking plan and stuck to the horses I reckon you'd be flying ;)

Good point James, I'm goin to review the whole thing if/when I break even :)
