with the ability to change one historic moment from the past, what would it be?

I would have shouted at JFK to duck before them infamous shots were fired. He probably wouldn't have heard me but still, it would be worth a go.

I'd have rang Brian Cowen in 2008 and told him to tell Anglo and the rest of the banks to go f**k themselves!!

Warn the Captain of the Titanic that he was off course and a ruddy lump of ice was about to sink him.

That way I wouldn't have had to suffer through a god-awful soppy film and "My heart will go on" for months in the charts!

Bertie Ahern said a while back that nobody told him about the state the banks were in, so Id probably go back and warn him about the impending doom. Im sure we'd all be on the pigs back then......

for nearly the same reason i'd go back to whenever cher was on that boat for a music video and blow it up.

no believe in the charts for what seemed longer than should be possible

Why Cher? Take out Celine instead.

I'd court Mrs Hitler, bring her back to Ireland and name our son Benjy,

Wouldnt have tried to keep up two jobs (one i hated and one i loved) and college all at the same time, and just stayed with the one i loved and college, may have still had it right now

Not believed a word that came out of so-called "friends" mouths, ever and therefore not looked a fool really.

Tried to get a job years ago, like when i was about 18.

If she could turn back time, if she could find a way, she'd take back those words that hurt you.

I'd tell my younger self that if an adult told me something that sounded wrong, it probably was wrong and that I probably knew better than them in that case.

    OR

Save Archduke Franz Ferdinand and stop the other little things that led to World War I. Hopefully that would stop both World Wars.

    OR

Go to the place where Jesus was buried, or people believed he was buried, shortly after he died and scrawl onto a rock my mobile number, the date 12/12/2012 and a crude representation of my face with an arrow pointing to them and "second coming" written below.

    What's your definition of "historic"?

I'd have accepted that particular lass's invitation back up to hers for coffee.

Why did you decline in the first place? instant was it?

I don't think people are understanding the "historic" part in the OP...

I'd go back and make sure gunfire and explosives were never invented. Of course there'd probably be some alternative invented instead so it'd be kinda pointless...

(And someone here will probably point out positive uses of these things :o)
