Get with the programme. 4-3-3 or 4-5-1 is the way to go

For now it's popular. But like most religeons it's just a fad. Technically 4-6-0 is the inevitable future of religeon but I still think 4-4-2 if you belief involves strong hard running prophets who can receive the scriptures and hold them up for disciples to push up and follow them to the promised land.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flying_Spaghetti_Monster

The Flying Spaghetti Monster (FSM) is the deity of the parody religion[1][2] the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster or Pastafarianism. The "Flying Spaghetti Monster" first appeared in a satirical open letter written by Bobby Henderson in 2005, protesting the decision by the Kansas State Board of Education to permit the teaching of intelligent design as an alternative to evolution in public school science classes.[3] In the letter, Henderson parodied the concept of intelligent design by professing belief in a supernatural creator that closely resembles spaghetti and meatballs. Henderson further called for Flying Spaghetti Monsterism to be allotted equal time in science classrooms alongside intelligent design and evolution.[4]

Wrong! I know an Adam and an Eve. And a garden.

    And I'd play 2-4-4. Attack!

I would say religion can exist independently of a God/Creator/whateveryourehavingyourself.

If religion didn't exist God would invent it.

    The flying spagetti monster?

Three spelling errors, one grammatical error, a definitively incorrect statement of fact, a non sequitur, and a question which begs itself. Goddammit, that's BEAUTIFUL.

Where are the three spelling errors? I can only see one.

    Actually forget this.

"I wonder if we could contrive some magnificent myth that would in itself carry conviction to our whole community" Plato

I think the OP might have managed that.

I wonder what witty way will the mod lock this thread?

    I reckon something like
"I'm the god, and I lock this thread"

Give it a bit though. This thread is hilarious

Im betting on Super rush..with something REALLY witty. *hopefully*

Im gonna go waaaaaaaaaay waaaaaaaaay out on a crazy assed limb here and surmise that perhaps the OP means "Now that we know God doesnt exist".
If I am right lets just blunder in with:
No we dont and never ever will.

Yes. Usually I try to avoid giving vent, but given that A) I'm about the 405th person to mention the spelling, and B) the fact that none of the post actually makes sense, I figured I'd run with it.

    1. Religion does exist.
    2. The existence or otherwise of religion has little or nothing to do with the question of creation.
    3. Asking what created us presupposes that we were created in the first place, rather than simply being the end product of random chance and the workings of evolution.

I dont have the proper vocabulary to explain this properly, and i'm not articulate enough to get it right anyway,it's just that when you think about nature, think about the way things just fit, think about how big our world is,and yet how tiny it is in comparison to anything else we know of in this universe, think of all the things that have to be out there unknown to us,the sheer size of everything,i can't believe that there isn't a god.

Oh and thinking about all the millions of things that had to have happened for us to exist as we do now...it's just crazy

    Calm down bro.

We now know for a fact that god doesnt exsist.

Man married a second time, leaves 1st wife and children. They all die eventually from natural causes and now would someone be able to tell me, in an intelligent manner, how God will re-unite who with who and what does he do with the children?
