Software updates Walker TVs

    Has anyone received software updates on these Saorview TVs yet as mine is acting strangely.

    When I try it says no new software available.

    They're not broadcasting firmware updates over the air at present. What exactly is wrong with the TV? If it's a fault with the unit itself then a software update isn't going to help :(

    It skips channels and turns itself off occasionally .
    Can anyone tell me what software version they have in their Walker WP16 LED Model. Ta

    I actually mailed Walkers to ask if my software was up to date as my EPG was all over the place........ never even recieved a thanks for your enquiry, so customer service is obviously not a strong point!

    There is a command in the settings menu you can apply so the telly will turn off after a specified time - maybe this is turned on on your set?
    If you have some channels set as favourites but not all, I think it will skip those that are not set. I just retuned all my channels and didn't set any as favourites.

    @hibbie Yes checked that and my EPG only shows now and next.

    Not good from a customer point of view not even answering mails looks like they are only after sales. BTW what software version is in your set?

    software version is 4.6.9m
    Try pressing the yellow text button immediately the EPG is accessed - throws out the full schedule for DTT on mine.

    Ok got he epg but only shows 3 days so must be faulty then.
    BTW is your model the 16" led one?

    No mine is 32 inch lcd.
    Repeatadly, pressing the green text button will move the EPG shedule on to the next day once the present table has displayed.
