    Hi,
My old man brought this bass drum back from the states in the 50's, basically it's a bass drum that folds up, the shell is hinged in four places, but what's amazing is the animal hide heads which fold too, it was designed for a travelling drummer.
The one I have is mint no rips or tears, in it's original case with all the nessecary hardware, beautiful deep crisp sound for a drum that folds up!
Anyone know the value of this drum? I have scoured the net and any site I have asked keep referring me to their appraisal page but I just cant afford to pay the rather high fee!

I've owned this drum for many years and now I must hand it on to someone that would appreciate it, any info would be great, thanks for looking

These are the main components, bass drum shell folded at the back and the two skins in front!

Here is the bass shell erected and one of the skins

And this is how the whole lot fits in the case

I have all the hardware to attach both heads but I just did not have the time, thanks for looking and hope you like it!

That is awesome! Why don't they make them anymore?! Can you imagine how handy it would be if you could fold down your kit for gigs?
