I have come across someone who has given me killer looks because I parked where school notes asked us to park. This person also got the same note. I felt like saying to him read your notes and give your face a break.

I have also come across someone who feels that we as a family should be doing more for someone (an extended member of the family and does not want us around her), has been rolling the eyes and again with the killer looks. It's not only us that has noticed this other people have too as it creates a very bad and extremely uncomfortable atmosphere. I just want to pull this person aside and say to them that I have gotton advice from doctors and a physicologist as to how to treat this person - so she can give her face a break as well.

I was raised to keep your mouth shut and say nothing but I cant bear to see my family go through this.

    What do you think.

You won't get advice here really, probably try PI.
The last two people I've seen ask for advice in AH have closed their accounts after the response they got.

If they can't give their face a break, maybe you should do it for them!

Maybe you have something in your teeth?

The reason I posted here is because it is weighing heavily on me, and I could do with some light hearted and some meaningful answers. But thanks for looking out for me.

The reason I ask this question is to point out that people who think they know it all should d*mn well know better.

Sounds like someone who really means nothing in your life, so "ignore" would be my advice. Or if you want to annoy them, smile sweetly, wave, then ignore!

This sounds like it's closer to home, and hurting you. Why not invite the person over for coffee some day, sit down with them and chat it out calmly.

AH answer: Blast them with ... stale recycled budweiser! >_>

(Happy birthday, by the way! :))

Tell me OP, what are you wearing?

OP - either tell them what you want to say and feel better about it but end up pissing them off or continue to say nothing and feel annoyed and anxious about it. Your choice. There is no easy magic wand answer, so either way just stop wondering and worrying about whether you should or shouldnt. Decide and deal the consequences its creates.

Thanks for that. Now I will not be able to keep a straight face when the dagger looks come again, maybe this will defuse the bad atmosphere. You are a genius.

No...because tbh the whole "give your face a break" is a bit dated Dublin speak

I have however felt like breaking peoples faces....that being more in keeping with my experiences growing up

some people are basically nosey, ignorant, gossipy and judgemental b@stards who make decisions and hold opinions with very little to go on sometimes so its best to ignore them as long as they are not actively interfering with your life.......the boloxes.
