You'll probably have to do training/actively look for work and go to their interviews.

It's a routine thing. They more than likely just want to see if there is any course they can offer which could increase your chances of securing employment. Don't stress about it.

if it says it's about your employment education and training needs, then it's something like what i had aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaages ago, where they give you the option of getting help with your CV, interview skills, and probably tell you what courses are going on. i signed up for help with my CV, got a time etc, it was 3 minutes of a girl looking at it and just said yeah that looks fine.

    that was it.

They're just checking your efforts to gain employment, and likely going to refer you to FAS. They're just trying to get as many people off the dole as they can. I don't think you've anything to worry about. If you print off any emails etc you have where you were making an effort to get a job, they'll have no issue with you.

Nope. but as I said this was ages ago, so I dunno maybe they are meant to actually be of some use now. though maybe that I was just after completing my degree could've been part of why they didn't mention courses.

Went on one of those a few months ago and the women I had to meet were lovely. I wanted to get working again (and I did) so I found it helpful. They don't judge you and understand that there is a recession.
