Half Marathon or 15-miler in Feb/March 2012

    Folks,
Does anyone know of a race of 13.1 miles or longer in Feb / March? Finding it hard to find more than 10-milers on the various menus.

Wouldn't be averse to doing one in the UK if it came to it...

    Any ideas or links?

    Cheers.

    Lads,
Thanks for those replies - looks like a few good candidates there alright. Will be using it as part of Boston prep so the rolling hills of the Burren might be the one to do.

If going to the UK is straightforward for you I'd suggest taking a look at the runners world events section. As London will be coming up there are loads of half marathons, a couple of odd distances between 13 and 20 and a few 20 mile races in Feb/March.

Has this one been on before? What's it like? Like the timing. Is it suitable for a plodder ?

Larne is on mid March, did it in 2009 and would put many races down here to shame. Omagh is usually the end of March i think

There hasn't been one in about 25 years. The other events promoted by this club are second to none. The course is through a relatively flat area.

Thanks. Sounds good and great price too at €20. think I'll aim for this. Will give a good focus (which I badly need !).
