Apps on SD Card still take up internal memory. How can I find out how much space?

So I have moved most of my apps to SD using 'App 2 SD' but I still have a constant problem having enough free space. Apps that are on the SD card can still take up some proportion of internal memory notable when you uninstall some SD apps you free up some internal memory. Is there a way to know how much internal memory an SD app uses?

If you go to settings> applications > manage applications and click on each application to find out its size. Only way to properly move the whole app is to root and install a custom rom. What phone do you have

Thanks but I don't think that view shows a distinction between sd and internal memory used. If it does it doesn't make it clear. For instance an as app might show storage as 4mb and when you uninstall it it'll free up 2mb of internal storage

As far as I know that will show how much of the app is on the phones internal memory but i could be incorrect. When i had a desire if I moved the app to the sd card the size of the app would reduce and then the amount left is what is still stored on the phone. In the end i just went and installed a rom with apps2sd+ and partitioned the sd card. Depending on the phone you have there are some good roms out there. Well there was with the desire as it was/is a popular phone. I just had a look on my phone there. I have sprinkle installed on the phone and it is 23mb is size. When i move it to the sd the game goes down to 1.24mb still left on the phone.

Other than that method im not sure how to distinguish unless there is an app that can do it.
