That girl from the toy show is exceptionally talented. She's only 11 and writes and plays her own songs.

Who really wants to see Dunphy again?? The guys totally overexposed in the Irish media.

    Bleakely= Boring.

    .

But she was on the Late Late Toy show about 2 months ago. What could she have been up to in those 2 months? Do we really need to see her again on the LLS?

It's not exactly the stuff that should be on Primetime TV.

Here is a clip of Ashley Tubridy performing on the Late Late Toy Show in December.

If it's the Late Late, there'll be a cancer/abuse/dead baby scare story and a book to promote.

    That never stopped them before!

    Really enjoyed hearing that again.

now, i enjoy a bit as sarky more than most, but FFS, fair play to this kid (and she's 9 not 11) absolutely amazing, lyrically and arrangement wise - for any age. . and singing is fab for her age.

i wonder is 'someone' gonna record the song? I hope so.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,718 ✭✭✭✭JonathanAnon

yeah Ashley Tubridy was great.. but same as last year with Johnjoe, they can just leave the kid alone.. have to shoehorn her in to some other show in lieu of getting a proper guest....

Just watching the news there.. I know there are austerity measures in RTE, but turning off the heating is a bit excessive isnt it..

    Thank you Father Reynolds... :pac:

I was hoping DLB would have Janis Ian on tonight seen as she is in town for the weekend. The name probably means nothing to you youngsters but this was the soundtrack to my teens.

Janis Ian's song "Seventeen" was a classic. Thoroughly depressing but brilliant lyrics

The former, sadly. Nice to see you back in realtime-the last time I was here you were playing catchup in the wee hours!

Floor manager has 'em clapping in time, like slightly inebriated seals. Gaybo would never have that. He drew the line at planting people in the front row.

Let's be honest, it couldnt be played on a more fitting show... have her play it between the child whose rabbit got run over while visiting him at the hospital, and the man whose factory (which made toys for orphaned children) burned down..

I thought it was Deirdre O'Kane, well a younger version.. Must be her sister, she's not a bad looking girl, but probably had that awful voice....

    Dont like this precocious child..
