Hey there, my girlfriend has been a bit down in the dumps recently so I thought I'd make her a bike to cheer her up (this always works for me) My plan is simple. A smallish steel frame with road wheels, A single five speed shifter and riser bars. It will be a lot faster and lighter compared to her heafty shopping basket bike. She'll love it. I'll be closely following the detailed plan below.

Anyway, I have most of the parts lying around the only thing I can't find is a small frame 50cm-53cm. If anyone has anything please let me know. I'll take a photo when it's finished to show you how happy she is. :) Thanks a mill.

She's gonna want to put the shopping basket on it. Buy her flowers and make yourself a new bike!

i have an old ladies steel mtb frame if its any good to you. I think there are a few bits on it like canti brakes, bb, saddle, stem, seat post etc.

Cheers Lenny, may have a lead on a girls racer frame. I'll be in touch if it comes to nothing.

Sugar! Sorry guys didn't look for a while. Looks like I've got a lead on a 52cm Dawes Galaxy frame which I'm going to go for. Feel free to make offer on the Kona.
