    Hi guys,

As the title says any opinions on the Lenova Thinkpad Edge E520 laptop. Anyone any esperience with them. We were advised that they were a good sturdy work machine -- they would be used on construction sites and would get shifted around a lot.

Generally to date we have allways used HP gear Compaq nx7400 currently. How would the Lenova compare?

We switched from HP to Lenovo and I have found them to be far better then HP in build quality and software. The models we use are x220, T420, T420s.

I also changed to lenovo from HP. Using on construction sites occasionally also. Only problem was some of the screws holding it together were'nt tightened fully and fell out. Watch out for that, especially the ones at the hinges. Otherwise good machine.

We swapped from HP to Lenovo here also and we've noticed the build quality isn't nearly as good as the older HP stuff.

Lenovo all the way imo. Their customer support is top notch too.

Lenovo support is a disgrace.Worse than pixmania. You obviously have never had
the misfortune to return a machine for repair .Complete toerags.
