    Hi All.
I have a Dec 21st 2006 reg Vauxhall Vectra and now would like to change it for a Jeep.
As times are tight I would like to only part with about a grand and get something around the same year/mileage.
Have been looking at the Kia Sorento/Hyundai Santa Fe etc.
Problem is I Dont Know how much I should look for my Vectra.
It is the SRi 150bhp Diesel.
I have replaced the Flywheel and Water pump and just done the timing belt. Car has 96,000 miles.
I was wondering what you guys though I should ask for it.
Would €6000 be off the mark.
Have also maintained it to a high standard.
    Have attached an image.
Please let me know what you think its worth.
    Cheers

I reckon it's worth €4500-€5000 if there's a bit of NCT on it.

There seems to be quiet a few of them on DoneDeal. Big variance on prices too. Car is tested until end December. Think 5000 would be probably top end. Amazing how cars depreciate in value. Searched high up and low down for this car when I bought it.

With the amount online to buy, i'd say you'd have to offset the colour with a lower price. Red isn't the most desirable, especially when there are plenty of silver and blacks about.

    Reckon 4500 - 5000 tops. Got 7500 for mine 2 years ago

Was looking at 07's for 6500 last year!

The Vauxhall badge will take a bit off it

Pity they are such a nice car. Thought myself they looked great in the red and looked for weeks to find this one. Ah well someone will get a nice car for a nice price eh. Did you have the flywheel/waterpump trouble with yours. I have spent a fair few pound maintaining this car. Should be good now though for 60K faultless miles. Might try it on adverts over the weekend and see if there is any interest generated.
Thanks lads for the comments !!

They are a fantastic car. Miss mine every day. Had to have the flywheel done after only 60k klms. Opel paid 2/3 of the price due to the low mileage. Just had the timing belt & pump changed as per schedule and had no issues with it. Mine was beginning to display the swirl valve issue before I sold it.

I honestly could have got any amount of 07's last year for 6500 so I reckon if you get 5000 you will be doing very well. If I was you I'd keep it
