What do you think of Alex Jones?

I decided to post this after seeing his bit on the Aurora shooting. I think he's obviously a seriously intelligent individual, capable of reeling off huge amounts of facts and can be very impressive in his arguments but tends to get all preachy and go off the point a bit as I'm sure people will agree but my question is simply..
what do you think of Alex Jones?
Is he legit? Is he doing good?
Is he himself part of a conspiracy (and I don't ask that condescendingly I have heard people say it before)

I'm not looking for evidence coz they're prob isn't or won't be any I just want to know what people think of him... he seems to be THE central most listened to VOICE when it comes to conspiracy theories especially ones concerning false flag stuff/government stuff... he gets huge attention and an awful lot of people no doubt believe a lot of what he says even though it would take a lot of research to verify for yourself what he says when he's so capable of spouting 10 minutes of non stop facts and figures and dates and events my head starts to spin... I just don't know about him tbh.

His job is to make your head spin.
He deals in paranoia and fear mostly.
Yes alot of stuff might be quite close to the truth or even true.
But he also does not allow people calling in to make valid points that would sometimes shed light on situations.

Ive seen him shout over people calling in, who were about to make points or ask questions i was myself thinking, instead steering the focus back to his main points, so the story does not deviate from his view..which could be the CIA presented view or whoever does the old CIA's job now.

The "new age" and Ct movement has been either created or more likely hijacked by "them" lol
So take everything with a pinch of salt and use your own critical thinking.
The people on mainstream news are lying, the people on the Ct news are lying.
And both sides shed a little truth at the same time.
Just step back and look at events from a far and it will be alot clearer then i think.
Alex Jones is there to create focus.
What we want is a little focus and alot of ..hmm not sure the word..but a view from above if you know what i mean. Scope maybe.

    More bad then good.

If you have a genuine interest in researching and learning about things for yourself he is actually not a bad jumping off point, as long as you ignore his view. Just get what he is talking about and go search for what you can about it yourself.. Form your own opinion.

Sadly too many are swayed by his evangelical preaching and energy.

They dont do any research, they just use him as the only resource and that is a problem

A populist, contrarian pro-agendaic shock-jock who has found a niche-market in peddling ridiculous theories while knowing no bounds when it comes to grave-dancing and base behaviour.
Saying something quick and loud or angrily doesn't validate anything, folks.
Just an hypocrite cashing in on the likes of some regulars posting here. Who's the bigger fool of them though? Him? Nope.

I can understand why people think he's an Idiot.

    11cab74.jpg

He can be annoying at times and has produced some BS but at the same time he has also exposed quite a lot of stuff with some valid links to his stories.

He has exposed covered recent Arura Batman murders quite well.

He documented ATCA, CISPA, SOPA etc very well long before people even heard of it.

He was accused of being a scaremonger over the Fukushima incident while mainsteam media were playing it down.

He is also smart going by the amount of sponsorship that he receives on his sites. I wouldn't just depend on him as there are other less commercial alternative sites about. .

His voice can be very annoying.

No, no he hasn't. He takes sensational stories and gives an exaggerated conspiracy theory spin to them using unnamed sources and something called "bull****". People who want to believe lap it up.

So did countless sites and internet commentators.

Eh, the reactor blew up on live TV.

He's laughing all the way to the bank.

Countless sites and internet commentators have also covered this case. .

Not the case, according to news reports at the time we were led to believe that these explosions were due to the excessive build up of hydrogen. It took several months before officials admitted to melt downs.

Pretty much which is equal parts pathetic and infuriating.

Mostly pathetic though - but I guess I'd be hard pressed to turn down the opportunity to make stuff up, lie to people endlessly and get not only paid handsomely for it but also held up as some kind of hero.

    It's a pretty sweet gig.

Bin Laden has been taken out by Obama's seal team that mysteriously died in a helicopter crash a few weeks later.LOL .

If Jones spins a story people will often look up other sources to expand on it or see if there is any truth in it.
Except for the two tiny problems that 1) most people who do follow him don't fact check, and 2) there rarely is even a scrap of truth to his ravings.

And the sad thing about it is that the same people that believe this will believe every other thing that he pulls.

the people that died in the helicopter crash were part of the same "team 6" as the seals that killed osama

they were not the same people

you were told this several times

In regards to Alex Jones, he isn't an intelligent individual. He is merely capable of reinforcing the delusions that people love to have about their governments and chooses to see a conspiracy around every corner. He profits as a result.

    That's exactly what Digby said....
    From your own article:
No member of the Bin Laden raid team was among the dead, said a Pentagon official briefed on the casualties who was not authorized to speak publicly while families still were being notified.
Do you read anything that posters say? :pac:

The sheeple in society don't want to know what's really going on in the world, they prefer to be sitting behind their 52" flat screen televisions being fed dumb down lies from main stream corporate media.

Being fed lies by the evil governments and corporations that are secretly going to enslave us.. yup we know
If Jones spins something off the wall, people will check his links or look up other sites to get some kind of credibility on the story..

    Something in the world happens.

Alex Jones decides it's a conspiracy (within minutes or hours)

He then trawls through the event searching for any discrepancies, any coincidences, truths, mistruths, rumour, gossip, speculation - very selectively choosing anything that bolsters that particular theory or at least creates doubt (sound familiar?)

Big holes in the theory? it needs a little extra spice? he has an army of unnamed sources, e.g. other nutjob conspiracy theorists who once served in the national guard (military expert), once worked as a government clerk (NSA intelligence mole), etc, etc and he has an army of fans, "experts" and randoms.. people who think exactly like him, individuals jaded or bitter about society, about their government and are only ever going to agree with whatever exciting conspiracy theory he comes up with.

The apocalypse is always juuust around the corner, but never quite comes..

I'm sorry to break it to you but he's a bull**** artist of the highest order.

Jon Ronsons book "Them - Adventures with Extremists" gives a very funny account of Jones, Ronson and some others visiting the Bohemian Grove.

Ronson see's it as the old-boys night out and Jones nearly sh1ts himself with fear! Seems like he believes his own bullship.

What's really weird though is Jones re-building the Branch Davidians church. What's that all about?

wow.. ok so opinions are mixed : ) to say the least.

I reckon he's a smart dude who knows what he's talking about in a lot of cases but just goes on a mad one preaching and waffling beyond the facts... I'm more interested in some of the things he mentions as part of his waffle than his own extreme beliefs tbh. I don't think he's JUST in it for the money but he may have a little bit of HERO fever as if he is running a sort of church of 'non-sheeple' as they say. I'd love somebody to really do a proper expose on him to see if he's an honest dude or not or whether he's just in it for the money... Louis Thereaux would be the man but I'm not sure he could outsmart Jones into revealing much about his true intentions... but it would make for some very entertaining viewing.

His most recent film -2012 New World Order: Blueprint of Madmen
now this sh1t is just plain feckin mental - there are so many instances of him just throwing in completely unrelated weird comments in the middle of sentences while he's on a rant it just gets you thinking 'this guy is a bit of a nut, really'

and then on other topics he can quite coherently explain a quite possible 'false flag' event in the past (not talkin bout 9/11 here) with a lot of supporting facts or secondary evidence so I just don't know.

I think he wants everything and I mean EVERYTHING that happens to fit in nicely with a self-created narrative of an entire planet being hurtled towards a worse than third reich police state scenario and that he is one of the only ones who truly understands this 'fact'. If he'd just slow down a minute and focus on one thing at a time and deal with it comprehensively I could get a bead on him but he shifts quicker than a 'reptilian shapeshifter' (joke).

I'd love somebody to try and prove that he's actually part of a conspiracy himself... some kind of psyop... now that sh1t would be mad altogether but sadly (entertainment wise) I don't think he is.. I think he may actually just be 'Alex Jones - a bit clinically insane, but speaks some truth, sometimes!'

When I watch him speak, I get reminded of watching the WWF as a smallie.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,831 ✭✭✭Torakx

Theres a vid floating around on youtube i remember seeing.
He was interrupting some kind of protest against some corperation/fed/gov agency..cant remember what but the protest to me seemed legit and he was video'd shouting over them with a speaker phone so they couldnt protest properly.
Maybe someone here knows of it or can find it.......nevermind here it is.

Now maybe he thinks this group is government lead in the background....but we are change as an organised group are ussually quite sensible.
I dont trust any org really but to me Jones would be much more suspect imo.

He basically didnt want them to protest here and started ranting stuff like "you dont own us bla bla" usual bollox that means nothing except being sensational and giving the whole rally a really bad look.

My oppinion if i was pushed to one...CIA/NSA lacky.

I do look at some of his videos but take it with a pinch of salt ,
His voice can at times sound robotic ,
Maybe that's a conspiracy therory waiting to happen ,

Some of what he says is unbelievable

That's a lie mob. He actually tells the truth, then twists it into the elite using the TSA to rape your pet dog whilst you're away on holidays...

I'd say if you've never been to America and you listen to his shows you'd be really scared to go to "CAMP AMERIKA"

Been to the USA many times and never found it like Alex says, especially New York, which is meant to be full of brutal paedo cops according to him.

But the reality is that he does tell the truth, then he sexes up new government legislation with fear. He's cleverly using new government legislation as the workings of the elite, so when people go looking for loop holes they say, "Haayy, Alex was right!!!"

I have his radio show app on my iPhone, it fúcking puts me to sleep every night like no sleeping tablet ever could. Best app ever.
