With ebay, you're buying with Paypal, you're pretty well protected in that case. Also you have the benefit of being able to view the sellers feedback.

You simply wont get it as cheap as ebay in a shop.

    Nice e46...

Sounds like the OP used his card rather than using PayPal to do the transaction. OP, set up a PayPal account. It is free and is much safer than using your credit card directly. PayPal take the money and charge the seller a small fee for being paid by PayPal. You also have much better protection with PayPal.

...yes, but a lot of the stuff on eBay is poor quality stuff.

You want to buy proper high quality stuff (e.g. 3M), and that'll cost more, end of. But the cheaper stuff and it'll peel/fade, and you'll be redoing it again.

One of our fellow Motors posters on here (Ivan) does vinyl as a business - www.positivesigns.net you could try him.

    Ode To The Motorist

“And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, generates funds to the exchequer. You don't want to acknowledge that as truth because, deep down in places you don't talk about at the Green Party, you want me on that road, you need me on that road. We use words like freedom, enjoyment, sport and community. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent instilling those values in our families and loved ones. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the tax revenue and the very freedom to spend it that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”

From reading this stuff appears the be the best, there would be cheaper options but for adhesion and no bubbling this one seems the best option 3M Di-Noc Carbon Fibre Vinyl Sheet. No idea where you get it.
