Seems to be more like severe aspergers. Nothing really funny about it, he's probably extremely anxious and doesnt know how to respond.

I think Dan is an absolute legend. I didn't post this video to slag him, but I was just using it as an example of how socially awkward people are and I was just wondering does anyone know many people like this. Myself, there was one lad like this in school growing up and I would love to know what he's like nowadays

How do you know he's socially awkward? Shy maybe, then he had a mic stuck in his face by a guy who looks and sounds like a failed 70's Kazackstani p0rn star who then started asking him whats wrong with him. Nervous laughter seems like a natural reaction to me, and a more socially polite one than "you are you fudging weirdo"

This is the point I was making in the other thread. 10 years ago no-one had heard of Aspergers now every shy teenager on the internet gets diagnosed as having it.

I have personally met Dan and I can confirm he is socially awkward.

Actually yes I know a lot about them, quite frankly its none of your business why I do. Its as ignorant an attitude as the stigma around suicide, or how people look down on people with mental illnesses or intellectual disabilities in general.

Im not going to argue with anybody over this, its redundant as it will only be met with more negative responses and ridicule and besides Im not arsed to do so at this hour on a Sunday morning. End of discussion from me.

Guy in my class in college was just like this guy. When you talk to him alone he was pretty ok, but in a group he would have the exact same mannerisms as Dan the man. He was also the smartest person in the class.

The only person ridiculing anyone on this thread is you. There is a world of a difference between shyness, and having as you said 'severe aspergers'.

I'd come across nervous on film too. Socially awkward? This wasn't a social setting, it was an ambush, and the guy in the middle who look like Podge or Rodge does not help things either.

I'll be honest I found some humour in this video but I genuinely posted it to see if there were people similar to Dan that they went to school with etc. I wanted to find out how they turned out because I'm curious to find out how a guy in my old school turned out because he was a lot worse than Dan.

Get off it, you thought the thread would good for a laugh with people pointing and taking the piss out of the guy, now you're just back-pedalling. Even if you did want to find out how a guy you went to school with turned out (which I don't believe anyway) you're still trying to look at people that you see as weird as some kind of freak show.

I'd rather have a pint with Dan or any other "socially awkward" person any day than with somebody who tries to feel big by pointing at others.
