    hi

where's the cheapest place ( south side dublin/kildare )to get a key cut for a Mercedes as the local key-cutter quoted 35e for one as it apparently needs computer/laser cutting  ?

    thanks in advance

€35 sounds cheap already - how much have you got in mind? How old is the car?

    hi

its a 1990 merc 190 so it doesnt have any fob or electronics to worry about, just a plain old simple key , granted it may have to be laser cut ( whatever that means ) but i could understand it for a newer car but a 23year old one .

Try a main dealer, assuming you have a double sided key this is the better option from experience

I'm thinking €35 is pretty reasonable to be honest. It's not a house key your cutting.

I paid €50 for one for my Spider recently. I think you're getting off lightly..
