Have you tried FBD? I thought they were very reasonable when I was starting off.

I tried FBD/no nonsense I'm 29 on an L plate first licence with no experience, they said they wont even quote someone who hasn't had any previous experience. I got mine through AXA they were reasonable I think at less than 1300

123.ie no good either I'd say - they wouldn't even insure fully licenced (2 yrs) 20yr old daughter for me as a named driver. best advice is go to a broker I'd recommend.

When i first got my insurance last OCT the only place that would insure me were AXA, got my full licence now and i can more or less go anywhere, was paying 2300 on AXA -_- sec i passed my test i went back into them and the insurance dropped drastically :)
Sorry to say but who ever does insure you, it will cost a lot, no matter who you go with.

I got insured with First Ireland through my driving instructor. Ask your instructor if (s)he's with them or you can find one through their website.
I got Third Party, Fire and Theft with them last week for under €1000 and I'm 23.
