Hi, does anyone have an answer for me? I have a 02 Micra the key only flashes the indicators and I have to open the doors individually. I have checked any fuses that I can see. Anyone got any other ideas?
    Thanks Michael.

Does the central locking operate when you turn the key in the drivers door?
    I.e do other doors lock/unlock?

    Old or new model 02

No the doors do not open only the one door opens. It is the earlier 2002 model as far as I can tell.

When you say you checked te fuses, where were these fuses?

Hi Colm, I checked the fuses under the steering wheel to the right and also the fuses under the bonnet to the front. There were fuses and I think relays in ther box under the bonnet. I am not aware of any other fuse boxes.

    Michael

Hi Colm, I have made a new discovery. One of the plugs were disconnected from the superlock assembly under the steering wheel. I reconnected it and the central locking was intermittently operating with the key button but not with the key in the door. this might suggest that the superlock assembly box is faulty and was disconnected for this reason. What do you think?
    Regards Michael.

Seems reasonable to assume that. Must've been causing more side effects than just not working sometimes to say it was disconnected altogether

Yeah you are probably correct. At least I know where the problem is. Thanks for your help and suggestions.

Do you know if that superlock assembly is coded to each car or can they be used from another car. I imagine its coded.
