US Air 723 Philidelphia bomb threat

story just breaking, I think

A plane from Ireland is landing in Philadelphia after a threat, according to Philadelphia police.

Police are not sure at this point what they are dealing with, if anything. They said the threat, which is unsubstantiated, was called in by an unknown male.

Seems to be US777 not US723 as its ex-SNN not DUB.

Depends on what the source is I have seen both mentioned and what's more they say it was an Unscheduled landing.

Initially it was reported as 723

Looks like there was only a minute or two between both planes landing so not hard to see where the confusion came from

Report in the Independent saying they don't know where the plane was originally heading but it took off from Shannon. A quick google would tell them it goes to Philadelphia anyway. Lazy reporting at best.

Seems like a hoax that the plane would land at its original destination in an emergency and the threat was called into Philadelphia police. Obviously has to be taken seriously though.

Lazy reporting from Sky here, It was hardly an unscheduled landing when it was heading to Philadelphia anyway
