Original modded Xbox - Disk "unknown" problems.

    Just busted out my old modded xbox. tried a few games and i am getting a lot of "unknown" description when I put a backed up game in.

    anyway I can solve this? or has the console had it?

    Could be laser problem. Sorry I cannot be of more help haven't messed with original xbox in a few years.

    Could also be that the disc has just faded for lack of a better term, just like old copy DVD's become unreadable after a while.
    Try an original game disc and if that works then its a problem with the copies.
